Chatloop is a brand-new social media app, launched in December 2022. Use it alongside different social media platforms, or use it as an alternative to the likes of Twitter, Mastodon and more. Our social media platform allows you to spark conversations across the web and make your browsing more meaningful. Read on to find out how to use Chatloop, and discover the ways in which our app can be used.
Getting Setup

Before doing anything on Chatloop, you’ll need to get set-up with a profile. When you open the app, you’ll be taken to our sign-up page. Here, you’ll enter your details as you would for any sign-up process, and then move onto our facial verification. This helps us to ensure you’re a real person, and means we can help eliminate fake bot accounts on social media. Once your details are set-up, we’ll then take a note of your interests so we can tailor your feed to you. You’ll also find a demo of how to use Chatloop within the app.
Browse
Once set-up, it’s time to move onto the fun stuff. Since we’ve noted down your interests, you’ll see some suggestions on your social media feed to get you started. You can scroll your feed and find out what other people are talking about on the web, or you can head to our search page to flick through more categories such as Sports, Fashion, Travel and more. If you know what you’re looking for, head to our browser and start exploring.
Loop
Whilst on the web, you can begin dropping loops. There are a variety of loops to choose from, with the primary option being the Chat loop. When you tap the Chat loop, you’ll see the other loop options appear and from here, you can choose how you wish to interact with the webpage. For example, you can drop a wishlist loop and easily set-up a Christmas wish-list with all your picks in one place; or alternatively, you can drop a happy loop on a news article that’s made you happy, or a dislike loop on something you disagree with. You can also discover what loops other people are dropping to see how people are reacting to content in your niche.
Chat
Looking to do more than just react? You can chat too. With the ‘Chat’ loop, you can open up the conversation on the internet and start looping your friends into the web. Plan holidays, discuss World Cup fixtures and more. You can create Public or Private conversations depending who you wish to include in your conversation, and others can reply or drop reactions on your loops.
